These aren’t your bargain basement items from another country.

These are made by Leo, here, in the USA, with American pride.

WHO IS LEO

Leo

Leo

Hi, My name is Leo. I am a retired engineer who is now following my passion. I love to create “cool stuff”. I have a fully functioning shop and am able to create a wide variety of items, such as signs and colorful crafts, but just not any signs and crafts. I like to create great signs and crafts, with art and color and texture. I have two adult children with families of their own. Between them there are 6 grandchildren. We are a close family that enjoys family, and we gather often. We love New England and given the choice we would not move out of New England.

MADE IN USA

I like to think the essence of “Made in the USA” means the Mom & Pop shop. I have no employees. What I make is made by ME, Leo. My wife, Diane, of well of 40 years helps me out occasionally, and once in a while friends help me out. I do not sub work to outside vendors. It is Leo that does 99% of that which is done. I do NOT run a production shop. All of what I make is very short run or single custom made items that go directly to a customer.

Quality

I tell my customers, that I use ONLY the best materials I can and I don’t compromise on that. I use Ben Moore or Sherwin Williams paint, not bargain paint. As an engineer, I am very analytical and I research everything that I use. I also believe in doing the best job possible within my means.

Innovation

I have a vast selection of “traditional” hand tools and I know how to use them, and I do use them as needed. I also have machines like table saw, band saw, drill press and all the mainstream machines. Additionally, I have a large commercial floor model CNC router and CO2 laser machine. I am well versed in CAD and CAM and CNC use and operation. I can teach CNC and I have clients in that. I am not new to CNC as I spent the last 40 years as a CNC Engineer in manufacturing. Everything in my shop is a tool that I use to make “cool stuff”.

Inspiration

I look around, I search, I dig for ideas. I see a lot of craft items for sale, some good and some - well you know. I get ideas from a lot of places and as I said I am an engineer and I research all the time. I have been to several seminars to learn more about my craft. Customers push my boundaries, and I like that. I continue on my quest to be more creative and artistic.
